I brought in a new case today. Two new ones in the last week and a half, which means the business will continue. But I was in a bad mood, so the rest of the day I played. Rode the Vespa this morning.

Found a replacement spark plug for the Stella, and rewired the tail light that didn’t work. Both projects went off without a hitch and it is running smoothly. It is a lot more rough around the edges than the Vespa, but satisfying in its own way. A nice way to spend an evening.

Yeah, they aren’t supposed to look like this. But the plug on this is much easier to get to than the one on the Vespa, so there’s that.

Ninja just because.

I had a helper on my trip to the auto parts store in the Sunchaser. Beautiful today, 80 degrees.

My mother is having some health problems - a first for her, as she has always been healthy. But she is 78, and I will worry until we have a diagnosis. My sister is very self-absorbed, and my mom and I have grown very close since my dad died in 2008. It is frustrating to be unable to go see her, but she is 2.5 hours away, and I don't want to risk getting her sick, especially with an undiagnosed issue going on. Ah, life.

Families ah (self absorbed sister, I’ve a sister and step-brot her like that, my sister I can give a little grace on mental health grounds but she doesn’t get a free pass), I really hope your mum is okay, and any illness is short lived and makes a full recovery.

The weather has been pretty good over here also, wish I had a garden or somewhere to enjoy it in.

As a fellow Italian, this social distancing stuff is rough. My nonna lives ten minutes from me. She’s eighty three, and healthier than people half her age, but eighty three is eighty three. She’s been staying home, but I feel this shit will shorten her life more than getting sick. Nothing else really matters to us outside of our family. My great grandpa lived to 102 and was cognizant enough to tell me stories of sailing around the world during WWI, so I have hope. Positive vibes for your mom.
